YMCA Rec+ Soccer is designed for the advanced player to further develop their sports skills, sportsmanship, winning and losing, and to compete against peers. This program is tryout-based. Rec+ Soccer will stay local to the YMCA of South Hampton Roads but will play at YMCAs across our local area.

Plan to attend the Meet and Greet on 9/7/2024 at the GBH Sports Field. Updates on practice and game locations will be reviewed.
Practice location will be at the regional practice location which can change based on the need. Games will be at all Regional playing locations.
Practice and Game schedules can be accessed through your Manage YMCA Account and will be finalized the week of the Meet & Greet.
Registrants must have received notification from try-outs that they have been accepted to the team. Registration cannot be completed without the information contained within the acceptance letter.
All Coaches are paid staff. Team coaches may support each other throughout the season. League consists of 2 90-minute practices per week and 1 game per week for each season.
Closed-toed shoes (Soccer Cleats preferred), shin guards under team-assigned high socks, team-assigned uniform.
Team Uniforms are a separate cost. Order links will be sent via your Sports Director.
