Military children were given the Dandelion as their official flower. Some may see this as a negative representation. But what this flower represents is the military child's ability to be resilient, persevere, exhibit happiness through hard times, produce hope for themselves and those around them, and endure. Camp Grom is on a mission to help support these amazing children and Operation Dandelion is just one such way we hope to do so. During this time your child will be in a group just for them made up of children like them. With the guidance and support of a trained professional in Social Emotional Learning, these children will complete tasks, participate in activities, have guest speakers, and most of all leave knowing they are supported, resilient, and not alone.
