Y Recreation Soccer is a volunteer-coached program designed to teach ages 3 to 9 the basic skills of soccer to children of all skill levels. The focus will be on ball control, rules and regulations of the game, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play for all. YMCA's core values will be emphasized throughout the season.
Games may be played at various other YMCA locations depending upon number of registrations.
Ages 3-5 will practice prior to their game to promote cognitive learning skills.
Ages 5+ will practice for one hour during the week followed by a Saturday game day.
Teams will be split up based on practice availability, teammate/coach request, skill level, and age.
Plan to attend the Meet and Greet on 3/22/2025 at the Taylor Bend YMCA gymnasium.
Practice and game locations will be at Taylor Bend YMCA Sports Fields.
Practice and Game schedules can be accessed through your Manage YMCA Account and will be finalized the week of the Meet & Greet.
