About Robotics & Coding Camp
Campers will learn to build and code robots using Sony KOOV, a design kit that combines digital coding with physical building to teach the next generation of problem-solvers and innovators. Campers will learn Scratch, an introductory programming language that controls the robots they build. And with over 23 pre-coded Robot Recipes, campers will have more than enough sensors, actuators, and electronic parts to bring blocky Minecraft-like robots to life.
About Specialty Camp
Specialty camp runs for 3 hours a day, Monday through Friday with traditional camp provided at no additional cost.
Please provide a change of clothes, towel and swimsuit. We provide sunscreen and bug spray. If your child has sensitive skin you may provide your own, labeled with your child's first and last name. Snacks and lunch are provided, however you can pack snacks and drinks for your child if you prefer. Please provide a reusable water bottle for your child's use. Everything you provide for your child should have their first and last name labeled on the items. All children must wear a mask (check back closer to arriving at camp to see if this has changed).
