Participants must pass the following swim test in order to take the Lifeguard Training program. The swim test consists of being able to: 1. Swim 300 yards front crawl or breaststroke, 2. tread water for 2 minutes, and then 3. Swim 20 yards, retrieve a 10lb brick and swim it back to the starting point in one minute and forty seconds.If you feel you cannot meet the prerequisite requirements and would like to have your skills reviewed contact the Aquatic Directors for an appointment.
